Highway Code now includes Powered Wheelchairs & Scooters

A new edition of the Highway Code was published in September 2007

The last major revision of the Code was in 1999

The new edition contains: 

• 29 more rules than before
  

• A new section of 11 rules for users of Powered Wheelchairs and Scooters

• The 11 new rules detail Speed Limits and other aspects of Pavement & Road Use
